Law Firms Advising Castello Bidco Somacis on Additional Bond Issuance

Paul Weiss, Latham & Watkins, Ropes & Gray, Pirola Pennuto Zei & associati, PedersoliGattai and Milbank advised Castello Bidco, parent of the Somacis group, and its controlling shareholder Bain Capital; PedersoliGattai together with Milbank represented the purchasers in the transaction. The transaction comprised the issuance by Castello Bidco of an additional senior secured bond for €100 million, variable rate, maturing in 2031. The issuance augments a recent €110 million placement completed a few weeks earlier by the same issuer and is tied to the bond originally issued for €550 million in November 2024. Paul Weiss represented the issuer and Bain Capital with a team composed by: partners Neel Sachdev, Matthew Merkle, Kanesh Balasubramaniam and Nicolò Ascione, and associates Marco Bagnato, Shaun Ou and Ester Zucchelli.
