Noerr Advises Borromin on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Herbrig

"Noerr advised a fund managed by Borromin Capital Management GmbH on the acquisition of a majority stake in Herbrig, a German manufacturer of high-precision turned components. The investment was executed as a buy-out; CEO Christoph Herbrig will remain in place. Borromin focuses on mid-sized companies in German-speaking Europe and the Benelux."

Noerr represented a fund managed by Borromin Capital Management GmbH in the acquisition of a majority stake in Herbrig. The transaction was effected as a buy-out under which the fund acquired a controlling interest in Herbrig. CEO Christoph Herbrig will continue to lead the group together with his existing management team. Herbrig is a specialist manufacturer of precision components with complex geometries and very small diameters, supplying international customers across the electronics, semiconductors, mobility, medical technology and aerospace sectors. Together with management, Borromin will pursue the company’s strategic development and international expansion. Borromin is an independent private equity investor targeting medium-sized businesses in German-speaking Europe and the Benelux countries. Founded in 2001, it pursues a value-oriented investment strategy in profitable companies across various sectors.
