Cederquist represented Telenor in the consolidation of its Nordic Internet of Things (IoT) operations under Telenor Connexion. The transaction consolidates Telenor’s Nordic IoT businesses into Telenor Connexion, creating a unified global platform for managed IoT solutions. The consolidation is intended to strengthen Telenor’s global offering and operational scale in the managed IoT market. The global managed IoT market outside China is projected to reach around USD 30 billion by 2030. Telenor is one of the world’s largest IoT providers, having recently surpassed 25 million IoT devices in use. Telenor’s IoT business generated approximately NOK 1.7 billion in revenue in 2024.
