YPOG Advises Cherry Ventures, UVC Partners and imec.xpand on Expansion of Q.ANT Series A Financing

The round was supported by existing backers and a new participant, Duquesne Family Office. Q.ANT will use proceeds to scale production and advance its photonic AI infrastructure."

Law firm YPOG advised Cherry Ventures, UVC Partners and imec.xpand on the expansion of the Series A financing round of Stuttgart‑based photonics startup Q.ANT. The transaction expanded Q.ANT’s Series A round to a total of more than USD 80 million, establishing the financing as the largest funding round in the field of photonic computing in Europe to date. The renewed capital raise was supported by existing investors and strengthened by the newly participating Duquesne Family Office, underscoring continued confidence in Q.ANT’s technology platform and growth strategy despite a challenging market environment. The financing represents an important milestone for the European deep tech ecosystem. Q.ANT, a pioneer in photonic computing, will deploy the newly secured capital to significantly expand production capacities at its Stuttgart site, accelerate development of its photonic AI infrastructure and pursue additional application areas and partnerships to broaden its technology’s commercial reach. YPOG had previously advised investors Cherry Ventures, UVC Partners and imec.xpand on Q.ANT’s prior EUR 62 million financing round announced in July 2025.
