Law firm Arsene advised Groupe Alsei and BC Partners on the sale of their majority stake in Opale. The transaction involved the disposal by Groupe Alsei and its majority shareholder BC Partners of a 54% holding in Opale, a subsidiary of Groupe Alsei that specialises in residential and tertiary real estate development on the island of La Réunion. Groupe Alsei is an integrated urban development group active across the entire real estate value chain, covering land development, project management, engineering and design, construction, rental management and asset management. Arsene represented Groupe Alsei and BC Partners with a team composed of: François Lugand (partner), Pierre Lucas (senior manager) and Farah El Hamdaoui (associate), who advised on all tax aspects of the operation.
