The acquisition was supported by financing provided by a syndicate of banks. The financing was arranged by a bank pool led by UniCredit and comprising five other institutions: BNL BNP Paribas and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena acting as mandated lead arrangers capofila, with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), Mediocredito Centrale and Banco di Desio participating as lead arrangers.
