The Dutch cabinet has announced it will introduce an outright ban on consumer fireworks, scheduled to take effect in 2026/2027. The measure has extensive implications for the fireworks industry: clients who have long operated within a legal and regulated trade now face the loss of their businesses and the value of their investments.
