Snapmint, a Mumbai-based consumer lending platform founded in 2017 by Nalin Agrawal, Anil Gelra and Abhineet Sawa, raised $125 million in a funding round led by General Atlantic, with participation from existing investors including Prudent Investment Managers, Kae Capital, Elev8 Venture Partners and other angel investors. The company provides cardless EMI solutions targeted at India’s mass-affluent consumers and its platform finances purchases across electronics, travel, fashion, home and lifestyle categories. Lex Consult represented Snapmint in fundraising from Prudent Investment Managers, Kae Capital, Elev8 Venture Partners and other existing angel investors, and on secondary share transfers by existing angel investors, with a team composed by: Naresh Pareek (Partner), Khushboo Khanuja (Senior Associate), Riya Trivedi (Associate), Vibhor Jain (Associate).
