Latham & Watkins Advises Edgewell Personal Care Company on US$340 Million Sale of Feminine Care Business to Essity

Latham & Watkins advised Edgewell Personal Care Company in connection with the sale of its feminine care business to Essity, with Latham & Watkins representing Edgewell and Essity identified as the purchaser. Edgewell Personal Care Company (NYSE: EPC) has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its feminine care business to Essity, a leading global health and hygiene company based in Sweden, for US$340 million. The divested portfolio includes the Playtex, Stayfree, Carefree, and o.b. brands. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory approvals.
