Latham & Watkins Advises erad on US$33 Million Debt Financing

"Latham & Watkins advised Saudi alternative financing platform erad on a US$33 million debt financing led by Indian venture capital firm Stride Ventures, with participation from other investors. Proceeds will support erad’s operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE and help scale SME financing across retail, F&B, healthcare and e‑commerce."

Latham & Watkins advised erad on a US$33 million debt financing led by Indian venture capital firm Stride Ventures, with participation from other investors. The transaction provides US$33 million in debt capital to erad, a Saudi-based alternative financing platform focused on small and medium-sized enterprises. The financing round was led by Stride Ventures, with additional participation from other investors. The funds will be used to support erad’s operations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to scale its operations and to meet rising demand from SMEs across sectors including retail, food and beverage, healthcare and e-commerce. Latham & Watkins represented erad with a team composed by: Dubai partners Omar Maayeh and Eyad Latif; associate Mustafa Darwich; and London associate Saachi Bains.
