Trowers & Hamlins reappointed to Historic England legal panel

"Trowers & Hamlins has been reappointed to Historic England's four-year, £2.25 million legal panel following a competitive process. The firm will provide full-service legal support to Historic England across planning, property, commercial, procurement and subsidy control, employment, IP, personal injury defence, litigation, construction, charity, judicial review, criminal prosecutions, and information and data protection law."

Trowers & Hamlins was reappointed to Historic England's legal panel and will provide full-service legal advice to Historic England. The appointment is a four-year panel worth £2.25 million. Trowers & Hamlins was successful in a competitive bid and was chosen from among three other firms to deliver a full range of legal services to Historic England, the public body that helps people care for, enjoy and celebrate England's historic environment. The panel covers a broad remit designed to support Historic England's work with communities and specialists to inspire interest, care and conservation of the historic environment. The services to be provided under the panel include planning law; property law; commercial law; procurement and subsidy control; employment; intellectual property; defendant personal injury; commercial litigation; construction advice; charity law; judicial review; criminal prosecutions; and information law and data protection. Historic England's Head of Legal, Andrew Wiseman, said the organisation was pleased to continue its relationship with Trowers, noting the firm's expert knowledge and experience across a range of legal matters and expressing anticipation of close, multidisciplinary collaboration.
