Bracewell Advises PROPWR on 60 MW Long-Term Power Supply Contract for Midwest Hyperscaler Data Center Operator

"Bracewell LLP advised PROPWR, a division of ProPetro Holding Corp., on a long-term contract committing 60 MW of electrical generation capacity to a leading hyperscaler data center operator in the U.S. Midwest. The project will deploy a hybrid system combining battery energy storage and high-efficiency natural gas reciprocating engine generators to manage rapid load swings and enhance resiliency."

Bracewell LLP advised PROPWR, a division of ProPetro Holding Corp., on a long-term power supply contract committing 60 MW of electrical generation capacity to a leading hyperscaler data center operator in the U.S. Midwest; ProPetro's in-house legal department also participated in the transaction. Under the terms of the agreement, PROPWR will deploy a hybrid energy system that combines a battery energy storage solution (BESS) with high-efficiency natural gas reciprocating engine generators. The combined system is designed to manage rapid load swings, ensure continuous and stable power delivery, and enhance resiliency and operational flexibility for the data center operator.
