Geldards advised automotive retailer Lithia UK on the acquisition of Hatfields Group, acting for Lithia UK in the transaction. The transaction sees Lithia UK acquire Hatfields Group, adding four Land Rover dealerships located in Hull, Liverpool, Pickering and Shrewsbury. The acquisition strengthens Lithia UK’s partnership with Jaguar Land Rover and increases the retailer’s presence in the North of England. The deal also brings Lithia UK its first OMODA and JAECOO store. Lithia UK operates more than 150 vehicle dealership sites across the UK through its retail groups Evans Halshaw and Stratstone and represents over 25 OEMs. The acquisition supports Lithia’s strategic growth and further develops its footprint in the UK market.
