The transaction comprised the initial public offering and listing of Verisure shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. The IPO was priced at €13.25 per share, implying a total market capitalisation of approximately €13.7 billion, and has been described as the largest-ever European private equity-backed IPO. Verisure develops monitored security systems for homes and small businesses across Europe and Latin America; Securitas Direct is part of the Verisure group and is one of the leading security providers in Spain.
