Hogan Lovells announces financing of Di Carlo Holding's 139 MW agrivoltaic project in Puglia

"Hogan Lovells advised Di Carlo Holding (DCH) on the project financing of 14 agrivoltaic plants in Puglia (139 MW). ADVANT Nctm and Legance advised financier Pollen Street Capital on a €132m bond issued by Agren. The deal involved project structuring, bond subscription and regulatory due diligence."

Hogan Lovells, ADVANT Nctm and Legance participated in the transaction: Hogan Lovells advised Di Carlo Holding (DCH), while ADVANT Nctm and Legance advised Pollen Street Capital, the financier. Agren, an agri-solar company sponsored by DCH, acted as issuer of the financing instrument. The transaction comprised the project financing for the construction of 14 agrivoltaic plants in Puglia with a combined capacity of 139 MW. As part of the operation, Pollen Street Capital subscribed to a €132 million bond issued by Agren, the agri-solar company sponsored by Di Carlo Holding. Hogan Lovells supported DCH from the initial structuring phase through the selection of financiers and the drafting and negotiation of the project contracts. ADVANT Nctm assisted Pollen Street Capital in relation to the subscription of the bond loan. Legance carried out regulatory work and asset due diligence to ensure that financing documents reflected relevant matters, including access to PNRR funds. ADVANT Nctm represented Pollen Street Capital with a team composed by: Giovanni De Luca (partner, coordinator, energy), Lorenzo Piscitelli (senior associate, energy), Edoardo Simonetti (senior associate, energy), Eugenio Siragusa (partner, banking), Bianca Macrina (counsel, banking), Federico De Pascale (managing associate, banking) and Andrea Bertoni (senior associate, banking).
