Sale of Health Partners Europe and SEMPRIS to Specialist Risk Group

Taylor Wessing advised the shareholders of Health Partners Europe (HPE) and SEMPRIS on their sale to Specialist Risk Group (SRG). The transaction comprises the acquisition by SRG, one of the UK’s fastest-growing insurance intermediaries, of HPE and SEMPRIS. HPE is the only dedicated provider of healthcare consultancy to professional sport in the UK, delivering tech-supported bespoke healthcare schemes and medical trend analysis for elite sporting individuals and clubs. SEMPRIS supplies professional indemnity solutions to medical treatment providers caring for athletes and is the sole UK indemnity provider addressing the third-party risks associated with treating professional athletes. The acquisition strengthens SRG’s expertise in healthcare for elite sport and is expected to enable HPE and SEMPRIS to accelerate growth while maintaining leading positions within UK elite sports healthcare schemes.
