Capsticks appointed to provide housing management legal services to First Choice Homes Oldham

Capsticks was appointed to act for First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO). The appointment comprises a four-year contract under which Capsticks’ housing team will provide Housing Management legal services to FCHO. FCHO is a housing association that owns and manages approximately 11,500 homes in Oldham and the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. The firm said the engagement builds on its existing expertise and strengthens its full-service offering for social housing clients in the North of England. FCHO’s executive director of customer experience, Jayne Lawson, said the association is committed to delivering an excellent customer experience and supporting safe, cohesive communities, and that having strong legal partners when intervention is needed is key to delivering the ambitions set out in its Customer and Communities Strategy. Capsticks said the assignment is a valuable opportunity for its Housing Management team and a means of further establishing the firm as a sector leader in the social housing market in the North of England.
