CMS Advises Geosolar Kamenyak on 75-Megawatt Kamenyak Photovoltaic Project in Bulgaria

"CMS advised Geosolar Kamenyak on bringing the 75-megawatt Kamenyak photovoltaic project into operation and obtaining the necessary licences from the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. Licensing concluded in April 2025. The first construction stage in Shumen Municipality is complete and the second stage is expected by the end of 2025."

CMS advised Geosolar Kamenyak on putting into operation the 75-megawatt Kamenyak photovoltaic project and on securing the requisite licensing from the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. The transaction concerned the commissioning and regulatory approval of the Kamenyak PV project in Bulgaria. CMS assisted in the licensing process before the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, a process which was completed in April 2025. Construction of the first stage of the project, located in Shumen Municipality, has been completed. The second stage of the project is expected to be finished by the end of 2025.
