Addleshaw Goddard advised OENEO, while A&O Shearman advised the lending syndicate composed of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., Banque CIC Sud‑Ouest, BNP Paribas, Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel Charente‑Maritime Deux‑Sèvres, Crédit Lyonnais and Société Générale. The transaction involved the refinancing of OENEO’s existing debt and the establishment of a new credit facility as part of a €180 million syndicated loan. The facility has a five‑year maturity and comprises an amortizing term loan and a revolving credit facility (RCF), each for €90 million. The syndicate of lenders comprises the banks listed above. OENEO is a French group listed on Euronext Paris, specialising in the wine and spirits sector, notably in the production of high‑technology cork closures and in premium barrels and equipment designed for the maturation of wines and spirits.
