Latham & Watkins LLP represented Naturgy in connection with a long-term sales and purchase agreement with Venture Global, Inc. Venture Global, Inc. (NYSE: VG) and Naturgy have executed a new long‑term Sales and Purchase Agreement under which Naturgy will purchase one million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Venture Global for a 20‑year period beginning in 2030. The agreement represents Spain’s return to long‑term contracting for American LNG since Venture Global’s initial contract in 2018. To date, Venture Global has supplied Spain with 35 cargoes from its Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines facilities. Latham & Watkins LLP represented Naturgy with a team composed by: a Project Development & Finance team led by Chris Peponis and Carlos Diaz, with assistance from Andy Yuan and Diego Diaz, all based in Houston.
