Gospic Plazina Stojs advised City of Zagreb-owned public utility company Zagrebacki Holding, while Miskovic & Miskovic advised the lenders Zagrebacka Banka and Erste & Steiermawrkische Bank in connection with the refinancing. The transaction comprised a club loan agreement of up to EUR 131 million provided by Zagrebacka Banka and Erste & Steiermawrkische Bank to refinance Zagrebacki Holding’s existing indebtedness. The new facility replaces an earlier EUR 240 million club loan on significantly more favourable terms, a result attributed to the borrower’s demonstrated financial stability and an improved credit rating. The refinancing is presented as an important milestone for Zagrebacki Holding and is intended to optimise its capital structure without increasing overall indebtedness.
