Nexture acquires 100% of Frulact group with Uría Menéndez and Slaughter & May advising Nexture and Linklaters advising Ardian

Uría Menéndez, in collaboration with Slaughter & May, advised Nexture, the ingredients platform of Italian private equity group Investindustrial, in the competitive process to acquire 100% of the Frulact group. Linklaters advised Ardian, the seller, on the transaction. The transaction consisted of the acquisition by Nexture of 100% of the shares of the Frulact group, an international manufacturer of natural ingredients for the food industry with Portuguese origins. The deal consolidates Frulact’s market position domestically and globally. Investindustrial, through its platform Nexture, will enhance its presence in the natural ingredients sector by integrating Frulact’s technological and innovation capabilities into its food industry value chain, reinforcing growth and complementarity across its operations.
