Alpeggiani and Laward advise on OhmSpace €2.5 million seed round

Alpeggiani Avvocati Associati advised the investors, while Laward represented OhmSpace and its founders in the transaction. OhmSpace, an aerospace startup developing high-performance resistojet propulsion systems for all classes of satellites, completed a €2.5 million seed financing. The round saw the entry into the company’s share capital of Deep Ocean Capital SGR through its Deep Blue Ventures and Deep Blue Ventures Space funds, and the conversion into equity of previously issued SAFEs subscribed by Galaxia (the round’s lead investor), Takeoff and Scientifica. The proceeds will be used to industrialise the resistojets propulsion systems, prepare the IOD 2026 missions and scale up production of the STAR line ahead of commercialisation. In the context of rapid expansion of satellite constellations, OhmSpace intends to strengthen its international presence, consolidate its technological leadership and offer innovative, reliable and sustainable space mobility solutions. Alpeggiani Avvocati Associati represented the investors (Deep Ocean Capital SGR, via Deep Blue Ventures and Deep Blue Ventures Space, and the SAFE holders Galaxia, Takeoff and Scientifica) with a team composed by: Serena Nasuti (Managing Associate) and Carlo Nicolosi (Associate), coordinated by Francesco Torelli (Partner, Corporate-M&A). The same team followed the transaction due diligence, while labour aspects of the operation were handled by Cristina Catalano (Partner). Laward represented OhmSpace and its founders, Federico Romei and Matteo Careddu, with a team composed by: Pierantonio Luceri (Founding Partner), Alessio Amorelli (Senior Associate) and Michele Cestaro (Associate). Notarial aspects of the operation were handled by Notary Isabella Nardi.
