Law firm Bird & Bird advised French company APRC in the acquisition of a land parcel in Rome owned by Banco BPM and Unicredit Leased Asset Management, intended for the development of a logistics platform. The transaction concerns one of the few available areas in Rome designated for a logistics development. Bird & Bird handled all legal aspects of the operation, conducting the real estate due diligence and negotiating and drafting the preliminary and final sale agreements. The firm also prepared and secured interim agreements that permitted the purchaser to take possession and make use of the site prior to the final deed.
