ARQIS Advises on Sale of Majority Stake in Herbrig & Co. GmbH to BorrominCapital Fund V SCSp

ARQIS (Dusseldorf) advised Christoph Herbrig, CEO and sole shareholder of Herbrig & Co. GmbH, on the sale of a majority stake to BorrominCapital Fund V SCSp; MAYLAND AG acted as M&A advisor and process manager. The transaction involves the acquisition of a majority stake in Herbrig & Co. GmbH by BorrominCapital Fund V SCSp, advised by Borromin Capital Management GmbH. Christoph Herbrig and the existing management team will remain in place following the transaction. Herbrig & Co. GmbH is a leading manufacturer of high-quality precision turned parts and a long-standing system partner to international technology companies in sectors including sensor technology, electrical engineering and e-mobility. The company is headquartered in Altenberg, Saxony, and employs around 200 people across three locations. Borromin Capital Management GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, is a private equity firm focused on investments in medium-sized companies in German-speaking Europe and the Benelux countries and has been investing since 2001.
