Morris Law and Litigium Capital Enter Collaboration Agreement for Litigation Financing

"Morris Law has entered a collaboration agreement with legal financier Litigium Capital under which Litigium will fund a portfolio of disputes managed by Morris Law on full or partial contingency. On success, Litigium will receive a portion of the success fee. The agreement preserves client confidentiality and leaves strategic control with the clients."

Morris Law and legal financier Litigium Capital have entered into a collaboration agreement under which Morris Law will represent its clients in disputes while Litigium Capital provides litigation funding. The agreement, likely the first of its kind in the Nordics, establishes that Litigium Capital will invest in a portfolio of disputes managed by Morris Law on a full or partial contingency basis under a success‑fee model. In the event of a successful outcome in any dispute included in the portfolio, Litigium Capital will be entitled to a portion of the success fee agreed between Morris Law and the client. The arrangement allows Morris Law’s clients to share the cost risk of litigation with their counsel and Litigium Capital rather than bearing the full financial burden themselves. The parties stress that no client information or case details will be shared with Litigium Capital without the prior consent of the clients. Until such consent is given, all information will be handled confidentially in accordance with AGRD Partners’ Code of Conduct. Litigium Capital is bound by confidentiality and conflict‑avoidance requirements through its membership in the European Litigation Funders’ Association (ELFA), and the collaboration agreement contains strict provisions on information management. Litigium Capital will not exercise influence over the handling of disputes; control over strategic decisions in each case will remain with the clients. The agreement takes effect immediately, and interested clients may contact Morris Law to discuss flexible, success‑based fee models. Morris Law represented its clients with a team composed by: Martin Taranger, CEO of Morris Law. Litigium Capital participated with a team composed by: Thony Lindström Härdin, CEO of Litigium Capital.
