Stevens & Bolton advised the shareholders of Natures Way Foods Europe Ltd on the sale of NWFE to Taylor Fresh Foods, Inc. (trading as Taylor Farms), while Piper Sandler provided corporate finance advice on the transaction. The transaction involved the sale of Chichester-based Natures Way Foods, one of the UK’s leading fresh food manufacturers supplying bagged salads, coleslaw and potato salad to major retailers and foodservice providers, to family-owned Taylor Farms, a major US fresh produce company based in California. The sale completed within a rapid timeframe and involved multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions. The acquisition represents a significant transatlantic move in the fresh food sector and is intended to strengthen Taylor Farms’ European footprint, enabling the two companies to share best practices, accelerate growth and introduce new products to the fresh foods market.
