"CMS Francis Lefebvre Maroc advised Groupe CMA CGM on a joint venture with Marsa Maroc to operate the West Container Terminal at Nador West Med. The terminal, progressively operational from 2027, will have an annual capacity of 1.8 million TEU and aims to become a major transshipment hub in the Mediterranean. The operation remains subject to approval by the competent authorities."

CMS Francis Lefebvre Maroc advised Groupe CMA CGM in connection with the conclusion of a partnership agreement in the form of a joint venture with Marsa Maroc for the operation of the West Container Terminal at the Port of Nador West Med. The transaction provides for a partnership to operate the strategically located deepwater port on Morocco's Mediterranean coast. The West Container Terminal is planned to come into progressive operation from 2027, offering an annual capacity of 1.8 million TEU and intended to become a major transshipment hub in the Mediterranean, supporting Morocco's integration into major global maritime routes. The operation remains subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
