Filip & Company and Weil Advise DIGI Communications on EUR 600 Million Refinancing

Filip & Company and Weil advised a subsidiary of DIGI Communications on the successful issuance of EUR 600 million 4.625% senior secured notes due 2031. The transaction consisted of the placement of EUR 600 million in senior secured notes carrying a 4.625% coupon and maturing in 2031. The notes were structured as senior secured obligations. Proceeds from the issuance have been earmarked to refinance existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. Filip & Company represented the subsidiary of DIGI Communications with a team composed by: Managing Partner Alexandru Birsan, Partner Olga Nita, Counsel Rebecca Marina, Senior Associates Roxana Diaconu and Anca Badescu, and Associate Bianca Gheorghe.
