Marriott Harrison advised search fund Maple House Capital, led by Innocent Udia, on its acquisition of Millenium Site Services and Millenium Properties. The transaction involved the acquisition by Maple House Capital of Millenium Site Services, a family-run Derby business founded in 2000 that provides on-site repair, engineering and painting services predominantly to the rail repair sector. The business has expanded to offer a wide range of bespoke services and operates 24/7 to repair vehicles without the need for transport or movement off-rail. Maple House Capital, which focuses on long-term value creation, will provide growth solutions while preserving Millenium’s legacy and family-run feel, enabling the business to progress to the next stage of growth. Maple House commented that the Marriott Harrison team advised across legal, transaction and equity workstreams with professionalism, clarity and dedication, bringing experience, sound judgment and practical commercial solutions that supported the parties through a complex first transaction involving two businesses. Marriott Harrison represented Maple House Capital with a team composed by: M&A Partner David Baverstock; Senior Associate James Stocker; Real Estate Partner Andrew Timoney; Senior Associate Rebecca Pyne; and Associate Rory Duthie.
