Hogan Lovells Advises Vidia Equity on Financing for DEZ Acquisition of Tectus

Hogan Lovells advised Vidia Equity on the refinancing and add-on financing of the acquisition of Tectus Flachdachabdichtungen GmbH by dach energiezukunft (DEZ). The transaction comprised a refinancing and additional financing arranged to support DEZ’s acquisition of Tectus. Backed by Vidia Climate Fund I, the acquisition is the fourth add-on completed by DEZ under that fund and further enhances the platform’s capabilities in the German market for roof energy services. DEZ focuses on energy-efficient refurbishment of commercial and industrial flat roofs and the integration of rooftop solar, combining flat-roofing and photovoltaics expertise to drive decarbonisation through energy-efficient roof refurbishment and solar installations. Vidia is a private equity firm investing in companies with proven technologies that contribute to and benefit from the transition to a net-zero economy. Hogan Lovells advised Vidia comprehensively on all legal aspects of the financing process.
