Gateley Legal advised Thistle Environmental on the sale of its subsidiaries Thomson Environmental Consultants and Atmos Consulting to Adler & Allan, a private-equity-backed environmental services provider. The transaction sees Adler & Allan, backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, acquire Thomson Environmental Consultants and Atmos Consulting from Thistle Environmental. Thomson Environmental Consultants brings a team of more than 150 specialists who assist clients with environmental compliance across areas including ecology, arboriculture, freshwater and marine consultancy and geospatial data management. Atmos Consulting provides environmental impact assessments, noise and ecology consultancy and GIS services to support sustainable development goals. The acquisition enhances Adler & Allan’s green-collar consulting capabilities and supports its objective to broaden the quality, reach and flexibility of integrated environmental solutions for customers across the UK, North America, Europe and Australasia.
