Ortego & Cameno advises Queka Real Partners on creation of B2group through three-way TMT acquisition

Ortego & Cameno advised private equity fund Queka Real Partners on its acquisition and combination of Smartgroup, B2com and Datos 101 to create a new technology services group, B2group. Queka Real Partners has completed its entry into the TMT sector by partnering with the three businesses to establish B2group, which will provide telecommunications, cloud and cybersecurity services tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises. The transaction brings together complementary capabilities across telecom infrastructure, cybersecurity and cloud under a single, customer-focused structure. The transaction represents the third investment from Queka Real Partners' second fund, Queka RP PEF 2, which has a committed investment of €194 million. The creation of B2group is presented as a strategic move to address an attractive opportunity in the fragmented SME market by consolidating specialist providers into a unified service offering.
