Addleshaw Goddard advised the shareholders of Transcorp International, Rodrigue Nacouzi and Ventures Limited (a subsidiary of Crescent Enterprises), in connection with the sale of their interests in Transcorp to logistics platform Elite Co, a company owned by Green Dome Investments. The transaction involved the acquisition by Elite Co, a UAE-headquartered cold logistics firm, of the interests in Transcorp held by the selling shareholders. Elite Co operates across more than 50 key cities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The deal reflects increased investment momentum in the regional logistics sector and is expected to spur further large-scale transactions in the wider GCC.
