Carbonetti e Associati and Invitalia Support Relaunch of Former Jabil Production Site

TMA has acquired the Marcianise business unit of Jabil Circuit Italia and its workforce of over 400 employees, with employment continuity supported by Invitalia financing."

Carbonetti e Associati advised Invitalia, and Avv. Antonio Acconcia advised the TME Group in connection with an agreement that provides for Invitalia’s entry into the share capital of TMA. Invitalia acted in its capacity as manager of the Fondo Salvaguardia Imprese, promoted by the MIMIT (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy). The transaction formalises an arrangement between Invitalia and the TME Group (Test & Manufacturing Engineering) pursuant to which Invitalia will become a shareholder in TMA. Separately, TMA recently acquired the business unit of Jabil Circuit Italia, a subsidiary of the U.S. multinational Jabil Circuit, based in Marcianise and active in the design and production of electronic boards and integrated systems. Through the acquisition, TMA also took on the entire workforce of the Marcianise production site, comprising more than 400 employees. The operation ensures continuity of employment at the site, supported by Invitalia’s financial backing. Carbonetti e Associati represented Invitalia with a team composed by: partner Luca Pasquini (team coordinator), partner Francesco Carbonetti (supervision), senior associate Giorgio Politano and associate Francesco Mezzasalma. The team acted in support of Invitalia’s internal legal department. Avv. Antonio Acconcia represented the TME Group.
