CMS Advises ALPLA on Strategic Acquisition of Energoplast Closure Production Operations in Belgrade

CMS advised the ALPLA Group on the acquisition of the closure production operations of Serbian manufacturer Energoplast in Belgrade. The transaction, completed on 1 November 2025 following regulatory approvals, transfers Energoplast's Belgrade facility — including production lines, personnel and existing business relationships — to ALPLA, ensuring continuity of supply for customers in Serbia and neighbouring markets. The acquisition expands ALPLA’s compression and injection moulding footprint and broadens its product range in South‑East Europe, strengthening the company’s position as a system provider for beverage packaging. CMS provided comprehensive legal support across the transaction, advising from initial transaction structuring and due diligence through negotiation and signing of the transaction documents to regulatory approval clearance.
