LOSCHELDER Advises Atlas Copco Group on Acquisition of EAS Engineering Automation Systems GmbH

LOSCHELDER represented Atlas Copco Group in its acquisition of EAS Engineering Automation Systems GmbH; Atlas Copco's in‑house legal department also acted for the buyer. The transaction provides Atlas Copco Group with EAS Engineering Automation Systems GmbH, a company founded in 1999 that develops specialized software for the engineering and automation of CPQ (configure, price, quote) solutions. CPQ systems are used for complex, custom‑engineered, process‑critical solutions, including compressors, and for applications requiring speed, accuracy and efficiency in proposal generation and sales process management. EAS serves customers across industrial segments such as mechanical engineering and tool manufacturing. The company is based in Kirchhundem‑Marmecke, North Rhine‑Westphalia, Germany, and employs 18 people. EAS will become part of the Gas and Process Division within Atlas Copco Group’s Compressor Technique Business Area. Atlas Copco Group is headquartered in Nacka/Stockholm, Sweden, operates in more than 180 countries and reported approximately EUR 15 billion in sales and around 55,000 employees in 2024. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
