Bär & Karrer Advises Oxford University Press on Acquisition of S. Karger

Bär & Karrer advised Oxford University Press in connection with the agreement under which the university's publishing house will acquire 100 percent of the shares in S. Karger. The transaction concerns Oxford University Press's acquisition of S. Karger, a Basel-based specialist publisher focused on medical and scientific publications. The parties signed an agreement to transfer full ownership of S. Karger to Oxford University Press. The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks.
