Bratschi Represents University Hospital Basel in COMCO Review of Claraspital and Clara Group Merger

"Bratschi represented the University Hospital Basel before the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO) in review of the hospital’s takeover of Claraspital Basel and other Clara Group companies. COMCO decided not to initiate main proceedings. The merger will consolidate oncological services into a Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Claraspital site."

Bratschi represented the University Hospital Basel in merger proceedings before the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO). The proceedings concerned the University Hospital Basel’s takeover of Claraspital Basel and the other companies in the Clara Group. COMCO examined the proposed transaction and decided not to initiate main proceedings. As a result of the merger, oncological services will be bundled and provided at the Claraspital site through a Comprehensive Cancer Center. Bratschi represented the University Hospital Basel with a team composed by: Rolf H. Weber (team leader, competition law), Samuel Jost (competition law), Claudia Walz (competition law).
