DLA Piper Advises Lenders on €400m Refinancing and Revolving Facility for Minor Hotels

The financing, split into two €200m tranches with green loan provisions, refinances senior debt due July 2026 and will support sites in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy."

DLA Piper advised a syndicate of financial institutions coordinated by BBVA, CaixaBank and Banco de Sabadell, assisting the lenders in granting financing to Minor Hotels Europe & Americas (formerly NH Hotel Group). The transaction comprises a €400 million financing structured in two tranches, both incorporating green loan provisions: a €200 million term loan and a €200 million revolving credit facility. The financing is intended to refinance Minor Hotels’ senior debt maturing in July 2026 and to provide ongoing liquidity via the revolving facility. The proceeds will support Minor Hotels’ operations and sites in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.
