DLA Piper advises bank syndicate on €400 million refinancing for Minor Hotels

The international law firm DLA Piper represented a pool of financial institutions coordinated by BBVA, CaixaBank and Banco de Sabadell in granting a €400 million financing to Minor Hotels Europe & Americas (formerly NH Hotel Group). The transaction, with a total amount of €400 million, was arranged to refinance Minor Hotels’ senior debt falling due in July 2026 and to provide a revolving credit line. The operation was structured as a cross-border financing and involved multiple jurisdictions, namely Spain, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. The transaction coordination was led by Jesús Zapata, Managing Partner of DLA Piper’s Madrid office.
