Gianni & Origoni Advises NIBE Group on Acquisition of 70% Stake in Selmo

Notarial aspects were handled by notary Giulio Montanaro. The Swedish NIBE Group, through its parent company NIBE Industrier AB, has acquired 70% of the share capital of Selmo. Selmo is an Italian producer of thermostats and electronic control devices for electric heating, founded in 1988 and based in Padua. Selmo will join the NIBE Element business area and will subsequently be consolidated into NIBE Industrier. Gianni & Origoni represented the buyer NIBE Industrier AB with a team composed by: partners Donato Romano and Raimondo Premonte, assisted by associate Vito Quaglietta. NIBE Industrier AB in-house legal department represented the buyer, with general counsel Terese Leire overseeing the legal aspects of the operation. Giulia Parisotto represented the sellers for legal matters. Credem Euromobiliare Private Banking assisted the sellers on the finance aspects of the transaction. Notary Giulio Montanaro handled the notarial aspects of the deal.
