Addleshaw Goddard advised Rémy Cointreau on its debut €200 million Schuldschein issuance

Addleshaw Goddard advised Rémy Cointreau, and Clifford Chance acted as legal counsel to the joint coordinators Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft and Natixis S.A. Rémy Cointreau has completed its first private placement under the Schuldschein format, raising a total of EUR 200 million. The issuance comprised both fixed and floating-rate tranches with maturities of three and five years. Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft and Natixis S.A. acted as joint coordinators on the transaction. The issuance supports Rémy Cointreau’s strategy to actively manage its funding needs, enhance financial flexibility and diversify financing sources. The net proceeds will be allocated to the general corporate purposes of the Rémy Cointreau group. Addleshaw Goddard represented Rémy Cointreau with a team composed by: Charles Tissier (partner), Dorine Reda (managing associate), Franck Labas, Nadine Bourgeois (partner), Nikolos Tsagareli (counsel), and Ole Panze (managing associate).
