Latham & Watkins Advises Ares Management on Acquisition of BlueCove

"Latham & Watkins advised Ares Management Corporation on the acquisition of the entire outstanding share capital of BlueCove, a London-based systematic fixed income manager. BlueCove invests in high-yield, corporate investment grade, convertible bonds and other liquid credit instruments; AUM grew from US$1.8bn to approximately US$5.5bn as of 30 September 2025."

Latham & Watkins advised Ares Management Corporation in connection with its acquisition of the entire outstanding share capital of BlueCove. The transaction comprises the acquisition of the entire outstanding share capital of BlueCove, a London-based systematic fixed income manager. Through its proprietary technology and varied product offering, BlueCove invests in high-yield, corporate investment grade, convertible bonds and other liquid credit instruments. Since Ares first partnered with BlueCove through a minority stake acquisition in 2023, assets under management have grown from US$1.8 billion to approximately US$5.5 billion as of September 30, 2025. Latham & Watkins also advised Ares on the 2023 minority stake transaction.
