Veirano Advises Maya Group on 30-Year Built-to-Suit Lease in Rio de Janeiro

Veirano Advogados advised Maya Group (Network Investments); CMA Advogados and Kelner e Wrobel Advogados advised Clínica Revitalis; and Monteiro & Dantas Advogados Associados advised Hotel Serramar and Imobiliária Serramar in a multi‑party real estate transaction in Rio de Janeiro. The transaction comprised the negotiation and drafting of a long‑term lease agreement structured as a built‑to‑suit (BTS) arrangement for a project located in Rio de Janeiro. The lease term is 30 years, with a renewal option for an additional 30 years, and was executed with Clínica Revitalis as developer. In addition to the BTS lease, the parties executed a Surface Rights Agreement (Direito Real de Superfície – DRS) with Hotel Serramar and Imobiliária Serramar as the property owners, governing the rights over the land and improvements related to the project.
