Themudo Lessa Advises Aguassanta on BRL 750 Million Commercial Notes Offering

"Themudo Lessa Advogados and Andrade Foz Advogados advised Aguassanta Participações on a BRL 750 million public offering of commercial notes secured by a pledge over part of Aguassanta's shares in Cosan. Bradesco BBI acted as lead coordinator and was advised by Mattos Filho Advogados. Proceeds will be used to acquire Cosan shares in a concurrent follow-on offering."

Themudo Lessa Advogados and Andrade Foz Advogados acted as legal counsel to Aguassanta Participações, the controlling shareholder of Cosan, while Mattos Filho Advogados advised Bradesco BBI, which served as lead coordinator for the transaction. The transaction comprised a public offering of commercial notes in the amount of BRL 750 million, secured by a pledge over part of Aguassanta’s shareholding in Cosan. The proceeds from the notes issuance will be used to acquire shares of Cosan in a concurrent follow-on offering. Bradesco BBI acted as lead coordinator for the offering.
