Kellerhals Carrard Advises Lakera and Early Investors on Sale to Check Point Software

The transaction involved the sale of Lakera, a Swiss AI startup founded by David Haber, Matthias Kraft and Mateo Rojas‑Carulla, to NASDAQ‑listed cybersecurity specialist Check Point Software Technologies. Kellerhals Carrard advised on the company’s employee stock option plan prior to and throughout the transaction. Kellerhals Carrard represented Lakera with a team composed by: Partner Karim Maizar (corporate/VC), Associate Arnault Eckert (corporate/VC) and Partner Michèle Remund (tax). This team led the advice on Lakera’s employee stock option plan in relation to the transaction. Kellerhals Carrard represented Atomico and Redalpine with a team composed by: Partner Nicolas Mosimann (corporate/VC), Senior Associate Kevin MacCabe (corporate/VC) and Associate Sebastian Müller (corporate/VC). They advised the investors alongside lead counsel Proskauer Rose. Proskauer Rose represented Atomico and Redalpine as lead counsel in the transaction.
