The transaction involved Grifo Group, active in Italy in the insurance, financial, and credit intermediation sectors, through its insurance agency Asfalia, signing an agreement with Finanza e Previdenza for the acquisition of the business unit responsible for insurance agency activities in life and non-life sectors. Finanza e Previdenza, an insurance brokerage company with 14 offices across Italy, manages life and non-life portfolios through the business unit subject to the acquisition. Grifo Group, founded in 2003, operates nationwide with 21 offices and approximately 500 business advisors in the insurance and financial sectors.
