"Itelyum Ambiente Expands in Non-Hazardous Waste Sector with Acquisition of New Ceccato Recycling"

"Itelyum Ambiente, a company promoting circularity in products, processes, and services across Italy, has expanded its presence in the non-hazardous special waste sector by acquiring a 70% stake in New Ceccato Recycling, in partnership with Lodigiana Maceri. New Ceccato Recycling specializes in recycling materials like paper, plastic, wood, glass, and metals from industrial and commercial clients in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Legal and administrative aspects of the acquisition were managed by Curtis and Giacomazzi & Partners."

The transaction involved Itelyum Ambiente, a company operating across Italy in the field of circular economy for products, processes, and services, acquiring a 70% stake in New Ceccato Recycling in partnership with Lodigiana Maceri. New Ceccato Recycling, a company specializing in the management and recovery of non-hazardous special waste such as paper, plastic, wood, glass, and metals, was formed from the operational activities of Ceccato Recycling, a historic family business in Veneto active since 1980. The Curtis team was led by partner Carmine Gravina and included associates Teresa Massaro and Federico Romano for corporate and contractual matters. They were supported by partner Francesco Caccioppoli and associates Marco Debertolis and Erica Sotgiu for administrative and environmental law issues, as well as counsel Marco Guilizzoni and associate Pietro Rigo for labor law aspects. The Giacomazzi & Partners team included Mauro Giacomazzi, Loretta Martin, and Alessandra Celeghin, who advised the selling parties.
