The international law firm Gianni & Origoni assisted UniCredit, acting as mandated lead arranger and original lender, while Orsingher Ortu – Avvocati Associati assisted NewCold Ferentino in a financing transaction. EY Capital & Debt Advisory acted as a consultant for the debt structure. The transaction involved financing granted to NewCold Ferentino, a company part of the global NewCold group, which specializes in the development and management of automated cold storage facilities across countries such as Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. The financing is aimed at supporting the design, construction, and urbanization costs of a new high-automation cold storage complex in the industrial area of Ferentino (FR). The project seeks to establish one of the most advanced logistics hubs in central-southern Italy in the cold chain and cold storage sector, featuring high storage capacity and an automated system for handling goods entering and exiting the warehouse. Gianni & Origoni's team included partner Eduardo Fiordiliso, managing associate Giuliana Santamaria, and associate Elisa Palaj, who handled all aspects related to the financing. The tax profiles of the transaction were managed by partner Francesca Staffieri.
